Some testimonials from our clients:

  • Most rooms were just renovated in 2021. Super clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, this place is great! Can’t wait to come back for snowmobiling. The location is perfect, the parking lot is huge, everything is very well maintained. My dog Henry loved it too!

  • Bishop Motel's motto is "We go the extra mile." It is so true. Our visit through Jackman, Maine was a short one but we felt the hospitality for the remainder of our trip. We needed to find internet service to resolve a client's problem in editing documents which needed to be filed in court by the end of the day. George, the front desk manager, provided us with a quiet space and the use of the Motel's internet to accomplish our task. George's friendly and helpful service was way beyond the front desk. Thank you George and Bishop Motel for assisting us so far from Dallas, Texas. Looking forward to visiting you again.

  • After a long ride from VT on snowmobiles, we were greeted by a friendly and appreciative host. They consistently go above and beyond. Also, have to mention the great shower/ tub. Very clean, modern tub with plenty of HOT water and good pressure.

  • This modern motel is located in the center of town with snowmobile trails access. There is a general store across the street with a great pizza, sandwich and other meals menu. It is in walking distance to restaurants and bars as well.

  • After years of passing the hotel, I finally stayed a night recently. It was worth it. The staff was friendly and inviting, and the rates are more than reasonable. The room was simple and clean with great WiFi, with a spotless bathroom, an excellent shower,, and great soft bed sheets. It's just what a good family owned hotel should be in 2019. I do wish the mattress had been a bit firmer, but that's just personal preference. You should stay here, it's worth the money.

  • We have stayed at the Bishops Country Inn Motel several times. It is convenient on our way to Canada. Always beautiful flowers outside and the rooms are always very clean and cool. Great prices and nice people with a very good free breakfast.

  • Rooms clean and updated. Nice staff and helpful. Breakfast slim pickers, but Mama Bears near by took care of that. Good dinner restaurant nearby also. Great area. Easy access. New showers. We would go back.

  • I went there on a short snowmobile trip in April. I got there after hours and I called Glen(the owner) from the after hours phone on the porch. He got there within 5 minutes. I checked in, got to my room. The room was super clean and odor free. The nightstand had outlets for all my devices which is a problem at most motels I stay for snowmobile trips. The bed was really comfortable. The continental breakfast was awesome with fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, waffle maker, coffee and oj. I got offseason rate of $80 a nite for one since snowmobile season was technically over. Jackman and pittson farm were the only places left that were still grooming and the conditions for almost mid April were fantastic. I javnt been to Jackman in awhile and when I go back, I'll definately be staying at Bishops. The trail leaves from the back parking lot. There is gas and convenience across the street. And the last good trail riding in spring. What's more to say

  • So maybe this motel isn't updated with the bells & whistles of glass walkin showers, sleek updated furniture, but it makes up for it in cleanliness and great friendly owners running this place. The real fun is being in the wilderness where you can view a moose or bear being weighed in across the street at the gas station (only one in town I think). This is a slice of life you can enjoy and appreciate the locals, hunters and outdoorsmen.
